I am the founder of Autism Mediation, LLC, and I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to supporting families navigating the complex world of autism. I am a retired Applied Behavior Therapist, and I have spent my career advocating for children with autism and the families who support them.

I hold a Master of Science in Special Education from the University of Wisconsin and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. I combine this academic background with years of real-world experience to provide practical, informed, and compassionate guidance.

Throughout my career, I have developed in-depth experience with the K–12 special education system, with a strong focus on navigating Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), Section 504 plans, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). I am also well-versed in IDEA, the federal law that forms the foundation of the IEP process. Over the years, I have helped many families better understand their rights and confidently advocate for their child’s educational needs.

One of my strengths is my ability to break down complex educational procedures into clear, actionable steps so parents can make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed.

Beyond the technical side of special education, I am known for my compassionate and personalized approach. I understand the emotional and practical challenges families face, and I am committed to offering real, workable solutions—whether that means recommending educational supports such as tutoring, helping families understand their legal rights, or guiding them through every step of the IEP process.

At the heart of my work is a simple mission: to help children with autism thrive and to stand beside families as a trusted advocate, guide, and partner throughout their journey.
